Tropical Weather Threatens Florida With Heavy Rain and Floods

A quickly rising climate system brewing within the Gulf of Mexico was anticipated to deliver heavy rain and flooding to South Florida and elements of Cuba on Friday and into the weekend, meteorologists mentioned.

It was shifting northeast at six m.p.h. and was anticipated to proceed throughout the southeastern Gulf of Mexico via Friday night time after which throughout parts of Florida on Saturday.

Hurricane Agatha, the primary named storm within the jap Pacific area, roared into Mexico this week as a Class 2 storm with heavy rains and damaging winds. It killed not less than 11 individuals and left 20 lacking, The Related Press reported.
